The Master of Church Music is designed to prepare the students for comprehensive local church music ministry by providing graduate level training above and beyond undergraduate training equivalent to a music major.

부에나파크에 위치한 '뉴캘리포니아 음악학교'(학장 이혜경)는 남가주 최고실력의교수진과 시설을 갖춘 OC지역의 대표적인 음악 교육기관이다.

오픈한지 10년이된 뉴캘리포니아 음악학교는 카네기 멜론을 비롯한 이스트만, USC, UCLA등 명문 음대출신의 최고 교수진을 갖추고 있어 수강생들은 아주 특별하고 독특한 방법으로 모든 악기를 쉽게 배울 수 있으며, 성악을 비롯해 피아노와 바이올린, 비올라, 첼로, 플룻, 오보에, 트럼펫, 하프, 기타와 드럼 등 모든 악기에대한 교육을 단계별 프로그램에 의해 체계적으로 실시하고있다.

미국 교육부 BPPE로부터 정식 학위인가를 받은 교회 음악 대학원과CCM/실용음악 Certificate 과정에서는 봄학기 개강에 즈음하여 인기리에 진행되고 있는 “미디/컴퓨터 음악 및 음향” 공개 강좌를 2월18일(토)에 연다. 인원제한이 있으므로 예약을 해야한다. 가을학기에는 또한 USC 교수인 피터 마쉬(Peter Marsh)의 String 교수법, 이영관 교수의 재즈 실용 반주법, 이호준 교수의 아트 오브 워쉽 클래스, 제이크 장(Jake Chang)의 미디/컴퓨터 음악 및 음향 이론및 실기 클래스등이 있다.

또한 유아의 음악적 잠재력을 발달시키는 유아음악교실(2~5살)과 커뮤니티 포인트를 지급하고 있는 오케스트라와 어린이합창단이 있으며, 성인을 위하여 키보드, 기타, 드럼뿐아니라 기초가 거의 없으신 분도 2개월안에 리듬과 코드를 가지고 쉽게 반주 할수있게 도와주는 반주법 클래스등이 있다.

NCC Adult 오케스트라 (지도: 주일엽 교수)는 음악을 사랑하는 성인들이 함께 참여하는 관현악단이며, 연주를 통해 나눔을 실천하며 다양한 연주를통해 음악적 성취감과 문화예술 활동기회를 제공 할것이다.

뉴캘리포니아 음악학교에서는 피아노 및 다른 악기레슨을 통해 대학 진학시 과외활동으로써의 credit을 얻고 싶은 분들을 위해서 CM 레블 테스트, 콩클 참여, 다양한 연주 기회, 커뮤니티 연주등의 특별 프로 그램도 제공하고 있으며, 전공 입시생을 위한 CD 제작 서비스도 있다.

2월 4일(토)에는 정기 연주회를 오후 5시에 크로스 로드 교회(12229 E. Del Amo Blvd., Cerritos, CA 90703)에서 가질 예정이다. 이번 연주회에서는 피아노, 성악, 바이올린, 비올라, 첼로, 기타, 하프, 오보에, 섹스폰, 핸드 차임, 피아노 트리오, 어린이 합창단및 NCC 오케스트라등의 연주가 있다.

Your church has a worship team, but how do you help them reach the next level? This intensive training includes instruction in the role of the worship team, vocals and vocal harmony, guitar, piano, bass, drums, putting all the instruments together, and a demonstration rehearsal. The curriculum is aimed toward team leaders, but anyone who is on a worship team or hopes to lead one in the future will benefit.

This course is a preparation for AP Music Theory Test, to earn college credit. The ultimate goal of an AP Music Theory course is to develop a student's ability to recognize, understand, and describe the basic materials and processes of music that are heard or presented in a score.(8 wks intensive course)

The Early Childhood program is designed to introduce and explore study of music through movement and is based on the interaction of ear, mind, and body. Developments of technical knowledge, tone production and performance skills for voice. Emphasis will be given to the factor of voice physiology, function, sound production and to the diagnosis and correction of vocal faults.
